Course Description

To study about the basic architecture of biological macromolecules like proteins, DNA, and virus. Furthermore, this lecture covers recent advances in the field of structural biology. WCU professor(Micheal J. Eck at Harvard Mediacal School) will give a lecture for one or two weeks.

Course Objective

The aim of this course is to understand structure-function relationship of biological macromolecules. Milestone papers in the field of structural biology will be introduced and presented.

Prerequisites

Biochemstry 1 (but not mandatory)
