Liberal Arts

The College of Liberal Arts is especially recognized for its work in Korean studies and culture. We also offer programs that allow our foreign language and literature students to spend a term studying in a country where their major language is the mother tongue. Our first one is to groom leaders who can function and thrive in this era of globalization. The second is to offer our students the most complete and uplifting humanities curriculum possible. We receive support for our research from the Institute for Korean Culture, Institute for Asian Studies, Korean Institute for Research in the Behavioral Sciences and Research Institute for Language and Information. In addition, we have formed exchange partnerships with Moscow State University, St. Petersburg State University, Columbia University, Waseda University,Peking University, and universities in Mexico, Peru, and Chile.
